Fringe/Bangs Without the Cut!

Hello Daydreamers!

Today, I wanted to show you lovely lot a quixk and easy way to achieve a fringe / bangs without having to cut your hair.

This technique can provide you with a fun way of foreseeing how you would look with a fringe, before you make the commitment of going for the chop! It's also a simple way to change up your look every now and then - perfect for if you're super indecisive.

(I hope you'll excuse the pink/ purple tone to my hair, it's just a semi-permanent toner and was in the process of fading at the time)

So if you're keen to "get the look without the cut", read on...

1 Lift all of your hair up to the top of your head and securely tie in a high pony tail.

2 Take a section from the pony tail (this section will be the 'fringe', so make it a thick or as thin as you would like the fringe to be) and pin it down with bobby pins.

3 Now, turn the rest of the pony tale into a bun- you could use a doughnut ring, curl the hair and make a messy bun or just backcomb it like I did.
Top tip: Be sure to cover those bobby pins.

4 This step is super important because the hair that is now your fringe will be very straight, it may stick outwards at a gawky angle, (and you may resemble a scarecrow) - but fear not - once you've curled the hair under with a pair of straighteners, you'll be looking like a beauty!

5 Now, you'll be able to see that if you had created a pony tail that's too low down, it would become evident that the fringe descends from within the bun. By initially creating pony tail that is high atop your head, the join of the fringe is made far less visible.

6 I went ahead and wrapped a hairband around the bun, this helped to fully conceal the 'fringe' join.

So there you have it.
Hopefully, you can now decide whether you're ready to pop down to the hairdressers!

I hope you found this interesting, lovelies. If you do try this out, let me know what you thought of your new look!

I'm planning on writing more posts like this is the future

AA Skincare Natural Deodorant

Hello Daydreamers!

*This post contains PR samples, all opinions are my own as always :)
Today I'm talking about another product from the AA Skincare range.

AA Skincare asked me if I'd like to chose a scent of deodorant to review so I chose the Lemongrass and Lavender scent because it sounded lush!

This roll on deodorant is scented like lemongrass and lavender and it smells delightful once it's on the skin. It's so fresh and clean and I would even purchase this scent in perfume form if it was available!

AA Skincare say...

We don't use aluminium, alcohol and synthetic parfum in our natural deodorants. Just the best that nature has provided, blended with love by the experts here at AA Skincare.
Both Lemongrass and Lavender are highly regarded deodorising oils. They attack the bacteria that causes body odour and leave you feeling and smelling fresh and ready for whatever the day throws at you.
This light and refreshing deodorant has a subtle citrus aroma with a hint of sweet Lavender.

This deodorant works amazingly well. The fresh scent lasted all day (even through an afternoon jog) and I felt fresh which is always a good thing!
After the product has been applied, the scent becomes far more mild and less distinctive but still leaves a clean scent.
All of the AA skincare deodorants don't contain any aluminium salts or alcohol and parfum  (which can cause irritation and result in clogged pores)
I also like that this deodorant is packaged in a roll on bottle, since there is no wastage unlike with a spray alternative.

There are also 2 other scent available- bergamot and aloe and grapefruit and cedarwood.

I was also super impressed with the delivery process from amphora aromatics
On the day of delivery, I was given a 1 hour time slot of when the pacel would be delivered- I hate having to wait in for parcels so knowing when it would arrive was a bonus!

This deodorant can be bought for £4.94 from the aa skincare website

Have you tried anything from the AA Skincare range yet?

Super Fun Post Ideas! (Weekend Writers)

Hello my darling Daydreamers!
I've decided to start a new blog series where I'll share blog ideas for those of you that have a blog of your own.
I have postponed this for so long simply because I couldn't decide on a good name.
As this is going to be a weekly series (posts every Friday) I've settled with 'Weekend Writers'

So the first topic in Weekend Writers is 'Fun summer Post Ideas'
I'm making a list of fun summer activities which will also double up as excellent blog posts so here we go! : )

♥  Picnic in the park/ Day out
Both these activities involve food and snacks which are always photo friendly.
You could go on Pinterest, get some ideas and make the food all artsy and imaginative. Be sure to share the recipes with your lovely readers.

♥ A Summer Barbeque
/ Garden Party
Parties are all about food, friends and memories.
All of these things are lovely to photograph and generate lots of talking points.
A colourful picture of the summer sunset would also be a great way to end the post.

Go camping (or glamping)
You know what us beauty bloggers are like, we'd have to go for the glamping option. I can imagine we'd want a socket for our straighteners and to be within walking distance of a WiFi connection!

Summer nails
This one would be fab for the beauty bloggers.
On YouTube, there are already hundreds of nail art videos so you could put your own twist on it and re create a summer nail look!

Day at the beach
Again, there are lots of fab photo opportunities with this one.
Shells, sea, ice cream, flip flops and a good book are all beach necessities which will help make a pretty 'Day in the life' style post.

I hope this post was helpful for you lovely lot and if you'd like to make a topic request for next Fridays Weekend Writers topic, feel free to leave a comment below!

Hello Daydreamers!

Well the title says it all, it's a PPP...Primark Haul!

The first things I picked up were these two fitness tops.

The tight top was £4 and the Sports bra was £3

There were LOTS of t-shirts in Primark so I picked up four of my faves.
This owl top was supposed to be £4 but went through the till at £2 yeeeeee bargain! :D

Also at half price, this disney Mickey/ Minnie t-shirt was £3
Grey elephant T shirt which I've been loving so much lately- £4

This one is more green-toned than on the picture.
It's a khaki colour T-shirt with super cute aztec detailing was just £4

TreacleMoon- Iced Strawberry Dream!

Hello Beautiful Daydreamers!!

*This post contains PR samples, all opinions are my own as always :)
Today I'm so excited because I'm talking about a brand that I've loved for so long.
It's Treaclemoon!!!

Treaclemoon asked me which scent I'd like to test and review and I chose Iced Strawberry dream.

I've reviewed this brand before because I love the products and the company's ethos. They have done so much charity work, they currently support a charity called BulliesOut. This charity that provides help to individuals, school, workplaces and community settings.
Treaclemoon supports BulliesOut with monthly donations and has also pledged to work with them, this year, to help raise further funds and awareness of the charities work.
You can read more about this fantastic charity here.

I like the fact that Treaclemoon put so much time and effort into helping others and I also like that it's super easy to support this.

My favourite products from Treaclemoon are the bath and shower gels.
There is now an even bigger range of shower and bath gel including special edition scents!
Today I'm going to review the iced strawberry dream bath and shower gel*

As you can see the colour of the gel is candy-floss PINK which if you didn't already know, is my absolute Favorite colour and I actually chose this one because I've seen it in so many Pinterest photos and it always looks and sounds so luxurious.
The bottle holds 500ml of product and the last one I had (marshmallow hearts review here) lasted for about 3 months because a little goes a long way.
At £2.99 per 500ml bottle I think that's pretty good : )
Printed on the front of the bottle, there is always a little dreamy passage which really adds to the cute theme.

The scent is of course strawberry and I also like that it isn't tart or generic, it's more of a creamy strawberry scent and reminds me of angel delight!
The gel delivers fragrant bubbles which cleanse and soften the skin. The scent also lasts on the skin for about 2 hours which is a lovely added bonus.
If you'd like to see the other delicious scents form treaclemoon click here to go to the website.

And click here to go to Treaclemoons Facebook page.

You can buy treaclemoon from Tesco in store or from tesco direct.

The Cutest Elephant Necklace! Plus discount code- Ji Ji Kiki

Good Afternoon Daydreamers!

*This post contains PR samples, all opinions are my own as always :)

I'm super excited for this post because it's all about the most lovely website called Ji Ji Kiki

I was asked to chose a necklace from the Ji ji Kiki new jewellery range and I chose this elephants necklace.

This website is Right up my street! It's packed full of delicate jewellery, sleek clothing, adorable accessories, modern homeware and also classic vintage themed items. It's all super cute and refreshing- the items so unique too and I love owning unusual things!
(they also have TWO sale sections- what more could a girl want?!)

I've found it is the perfect website for buying gifts.
When I first took a look at the website I kept finding myself thinking "oh that would be great for..."  or  "... would absolutely love that!" There really is something for everyone.

They're a very Blogger- friendly company and there are lots of ways that you can work with Ji Ji Kiki if you're a blogger too :D

The item I really want to show you is this gorgeous elephants necklace, it's so beautifully detailed and goes with everything.

The necklace itself is super delicate-looking yet really well made. The silver elephants are so shiny that they glimmer and twinkle in the sunlight beautifully. I've had so many compliments whilst wearing this and I've decided that I'm going to purchase some for Christmas prezzies for friends and family- yes I'm already thinking about Christmas, there's less than 6 months to go don't ya know ; )

On the website, Ji Ji Kiki say...
This adorable necklace featuring a mother and tiny baby elephant is the perfect necklace for all elephant lovers!
Measuring approximately 2 cm long and 1 cm tall. Brushed silver plated pendant on 18" silver plated chain.

This necklace is £8.50 and you can find it here

I found Ji Ji kiki because I recently signed up to a website called Adlet, this website helps bloggers connect with brands and often, there are opportunities for bloggers to receive a product/ item in return for a review. It's an easy and friendly process and I'd really recommend it if you aren't already apart of Adlet. Also, it's free!

Now, for the Super Exciting part!
Emma (the lovely founder of Ji Ji Kiki) has been so kind and has offered us a 15% off discount code all you need to do is enter Blossoming at the checkout!
With this code, the elephants necklace will only cost £7.23 and it can of course be used on other items as well!!

(they also ship worldwide for all you international peeps)

Perfect Eyebrows in 1 Minute (2true Brow Fix Highlighter Review)

Hi Daydreamers!
I hope you're all well : )

Today I want to show you lovely lot a product that has become my 'makeup bag staple'
This product has made makeup application in general a whole lot easier. Whether it be an everyday look or an all out full face of makeup, I've found that I have constantly gravitated towards this product.

The 2true Brow Fix Highlighter is similar to a brow mascara, it is highly pigmented, gives a natural but sculpted look to the brow and takes less than a minute to use!

For years I have penciled in my eyebrows. This has always been the most resented step in my makeup application routine.
I would love blending my foundation and brushing my lashes with a mascara wand and smoothing a glowing cream blush over my cheeks but as soon as I got around to penciling in my eyebrows, I'd find myself disheartened because I knew would never get it right.

This product is amazing because it practically does the job for you. All that you need to do is sweep the brush side of the wand over your brow and you have natural-looking defined brow which will stay in place all day (no need for a brow set, this has one built in)

This is a two-in-one product and on the other side of the wand, there is a liquid highlighter with a doe foot applicator this is perfect for highlighting the brow bone and further defining the brows and I have also used it on my cheek bone in the past, it gives a lovely clean, radiant effect.

The first application leaves the brows looking very natural and the colour/ intensity is build-able.

The 2true Brow Fix is available 'brown' or 'light brown' I use light brown now but back when I was brunette, I used the brown one. They both work exactly the same, the brown is just of course a little bit darker.

It retails for £3.99 in Superdrug.

If like me, you find filling in your brows a chore, you need this in your life!
It will also save you so much time everyday and I honestly won't ever go back to penciling in my brows ever again. I'm half tempted to go and buy all the stock in my local Superdrug just in case this ever gets discontinued!

(This is not a sponsored post)

Have you ever tried the 2true Brow Fix or any similar brow mascaras?

June Favourites!

 Hello Daydreamers!

Today I'm writing about my June Favourites!

I literally can't believe we're in July already, this year is flying by in the blink of an eye.

Most of my June favourites are things that I already owned and have began to re-use and love as we move towards summer time.

So the first thing I've been loving in June in is this 'Clay Time' face mask which I bought from wilkinsons. I actually wrote a review on it back in December if you're interested in purchasing it, the review is here.
It was actually one of the first reviews I wrote : )

This lovely Balmi lip balm that I buy every Summer.
This one is in the flavour Strawberry and I love it!
This is another product I've reviewed here.

This Nivea day cream has been a favourite of mine lately. I like to use this in the morning after I've cleansed my face. I leave it to sink in for about 10 minutes and it leaves a soft film over my face which I find is a great base for makeup. Also, it smells really fresh and clean too and the scent really reminds me of spring/ summer.

This seaweed and aloe refreshing eye gel has been a staple this month, it's so refreshing and lovely.
I have actually wrote a review on this as well- I'm sorry, this whole post so far is just links to reviews XD I must just review everything I've been loving. The review is here if you'd like to read it.

I've been enjoying wearing floral headbands what with all the hot weather. I think they just create such an effortless look and when teamed with beach waves these can look so pretty. I've been loving this daisy chain headband the most lately.
I bought it from new look and have seen similar ones in lots of shops since.
I think I may blogged about this headband at some time before actually but can't remember when.

And finally this is the perfume that I've worn most days in June.
I've had it a while but always felt it was a summer scent. It's very fresh and floral. Apparently the notes in this scent are Orange Blossom, Peach Nectar, Apricot, Honeysuckle. It's a very happy, uplifting scent and reminds me of a summer breeze.
I think that people will either love or hate this perfume but I really love it.

So there are my June Favourites! If you've wrote a favourites post, feel free to link it below, I love reading them!

Thank you for reading lovelies and I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend : )

Healthy Snacks- Urban Fruit

Hello Beautiful Daydreamers!

*This post contains PR samples, all opinions are my own as always :)

If you follow me on my beloved Pinterest you will probably be aware that I've been on a bit of a health kick lately.

I've not been doing the latest bikini boot-camp or anything like that, I've just made an effort to eat more healthy and incorporate a little exercise into my daily routine. I think I will be writing a post soon on the small changes I've made.

Anyway, I noticed that with eating more healthy, the junk food I missed the most was sweets. I've always had a sweet tooth and found that eating an apple just didn't cut it.
So whilst in ASDA, I spotted what I thought was a bag of chewy sweets called 'Urban Fruit' when I read the ingredients I was astonished to find it was purely baked fruit- slowly baked so all the goodness remains. Well, that was it! I grabbed a bag of Strawberry Urban fruit and practically skipped to the checkout excited that I had found a healthy alternative to wine gums.

I demolished the whole bag within no time, they're just so moreish!

Fast forward 2 weeks and Urban Fruit- the company, so kindly said they'd send me some Urban Fruit to review... well they certainly sent a good selection!

I love how they came packaged, it's all so wholesome and organic!

Urban Fruit say "Delicious fruit, picked when it’s perfectly ripe, and then gently baked at low temperatures so that you hang on to all the good stuff. We will never add any
sugar, oils, sulphites, concentrates or any other funny business to our fruit.
You can find Urban in Asda, Tesco, Co-op, Waitrose, ocado, Wilkinsons, in the
meal deal at Boots, on Amazon, and in loads of lovely independents."

As you can see, you can buy different size bags depending on your addiction occasion.
Perfect for throwing into your handbag, packed lunches, car journeys and picnics!

These bags of goodness would be fab to give you an energy boost before you hit the gym/workout and are also great for kids since it's all natural stuff and contributes to one of your 5 a day

I've been getting a bit more creative recently and have tried adding a handful of fruit to porridge (delicious) and also the cherries are perfect when mixed with smooth frozen yoghurt.

If you're thinking of giving these a whirl, I would say you should try the cherries (I'm not usually a fan of anything cherry flavored, but these taste just like raisins  and are really moreish!) and my other favourite is the Tremendously Tropical which is a mixed bag of mango, coconut, pineapple and banana- there are so many flavours and textures in this one so I can see it being popular.

If you'd like to find out more about urban fruit, click here to go to the website.

All in all, I think it's safe to say that Urban Fruit is my new favorite snack- not even just my favorite 'healthy snack' this simply beats all the junk food!

Have you ever tried urban fruit?

Thank you for reading lovelies.

Ps If you'd like to make my day, you can follow me on bloglovin' here It makes me do this-

A Balmi Summer!

Good Afternoon Daydreamers!

*This post contains PR samples, all opinions are my own as always :)

How are you? Have you been enjoying all this lovely hot weather?

Today I'm going to review a lip balm that I have loved for a lifetime.
I think the whole concept of a Balmi lip balm is perfect because...

♥  Balmis are available in an array of delicate pastel colours - pastels really float my boat!

♥  The application of a Balmi lip balm is far more hygienic than some other lip balms because there is no need to go ahead and contaminate the product with your fingers, this makes them ideal for festivals and public travel.

♥  Each one of the Balmi flavours (mint, coconut, strawberry, blackcurrant and raspberry) are heavenly; unlike some lip balms, they don't taste artificial and they even contain
vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil - oooh yes please!

I have tried out all five Balmi flavours in the past and I must say, each one has been a delight! I'm particularly fond of the Strawberry flavour. It reminds me of hot midsummer days because a few years back, I loved my strawberry Balmi so much that I used it daily from the months of June to September. Ever since then, this has been a repeat summer purchase.

The product itself leaves my lips looking shiny, plump and glossy. I'll also add that once the product has worn off, my lips are left super nourished and soft.

As you can see, the Balmi is attached to a loop which allows you to link the lip balm to a key-ring or a handbag, however in the past I've found that over time, the lid of the Balmi can become a little loose, so I choose to keep my Balmi displayed on my dressing table to prevent it from becoming damaged, this is not a problem because the cute colours of Balmi's match my bedroom beautifully.

Balmi's are becoming more and more popular and they're available to purchase from Boots, Tesco and Mountain Warehouse. They normally retail around the £5 mark but often, Boots will sell them on offer for £2.99
(I've just checked, and this is how much they're on sale for right now, so if you're tempted, go and pick one up and get a bargain!)

Have you tried any of the Balmi lip balms yet?
If so which flavour if your fave?

PS if you'd like to follow me on bloglovin' (and make me smile from ear to ear) click here :D
