July Favourites!

Hello Daydreamers!

Everyone is saying it, but this year is literally flying by!
I can't believe it's August now. August is my favourite month since it's my birthday month.
As July has been and gone, here are my favourites from the past 31 days...

Bleach Shampoo
These shampoos are amazing. They tone the hair so well and the longer they're left on, the more vibrant the hair colour. I've been particularly loving the purple shampoo because this one tones blonde hair. If your hair has any unwanted gold tones this will cool it right down and leave the hair looking clean and shiny. I've tried quite a lot of silver shampoos in my time and this one is by far the best.
I've actually only tried the pink shampoo once before but after leaving it on my hair for 10 minutes, it gave my hair a lovely pink cast. This one can also be used to counteract green hues in blonde hair.

 Treaclemoon Strawberry Dream
This shower gel is just lovely. I love everything about it, the colour, the fragrance, the sweet little passage written on the front. It's just a good all rounder. I wrote a review in more detail here.

Essie Lovie Dovie and Full Stream Ahead
I Instagramed these beauts and noted that I hadn't ever tried Essie despite being a nail polish hoarder! I can now say that Essie is my new addiction. These polishes are brilliant, they glide onto the nail, dry within seconds and remain chip-free for days.

Lush Butterball
Now although I looooove LUSH, I'm not usually a huge fan of baths in Summer. I think luxury baths with candles and a magazine are more of a winter activity however, I have been loving the butterball bath bomb because it leaves the skin so soft and moisturised which means I don't need to spend ages applying moisturiser after a bath.
It's contains shea butter and smells delicious too!
If you've never tried a Lush bath bomb before, I'd highly recommend this one. It doesn't turn the water into a rainbow like some of the other bombs but it's definitely one of the most beneficial for the skin.

Tangle Teaser
I've had this tangle teaser for over a year now and have loved it so much. Lately, I've been wearing my hair down and curling it a lot. This de-tangles the hair without any pain and leaves it smooth and silky.

Vaseline Rosy Lips
And finally, this is an oldie but goldie. It's known that vaseline is very much an affordable and basic brand. This lip balm in particular is tinted pink and I've just found that it's a really good all rounder in terms of moisturising, price and colour. The balm is called rosy lips and it really does leave your lips with a pretty, rosy glow which is perfect for summer.

So there are my July faves.
Let me know any of your favourite products/ items from the month of July in the comments below!

Thank you for reading lovelies : )

  1. I have been intrigued by the bleach products for a while now, and your mentioning of them is really helpful to me as I wasn't quite sure how they worked. And I love my tangle teezer too, it's definitely a beauty staple!
