Christmas Gift Guide 2015

 Hello Daydreamers!

*This post contains PR samples, however all opinions are as always, my own :)

The time has come, It's no longer too early to mention it...
IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!

Well it's nearly Christmas, but we're officially on countdown now and as Christmas brings us the opportunity to buy items for loved ones, I decided to put together a gift guide. I've tried to include something for everyone whether it be your best friend or your pet dog!

So, here are my top picks...

For the sentimental/blogger/writer
http://www.thepresentfinder.co.uk/buy/one-line-day-diary_1725.htm
This 5 year 2 line a day diary would be a thoughtful gift for any keen writer. It's available to purchase from The Present Finder which is a lovely online gift shop where you'll find gifts to suit any personality.
  The present finder website says:

"This little diary is enough to document a five year period in anyone's life. It's a lovely way to record and revisit parts of your life that you might have otherwise forgotten."

I think this gift would suit anyone, particularly those who are sentimental and are too busy to write a full page diary daily. I also think this would make a fabulous gift for a blogger- since we're all so keen to document and write!
The book itself is Columbia blue in colour; making it suitable for males and females. The pages are gold-edged, giving the book a well-finished look and each page is thick enough for ink to not seep through. Overall this little compact diary feels durable and looks classy which makes it the ideal unique gift.

For the stationary lover
https://www.amara.com/products/pen-set-strike-gold

Oh my oh my, I absolutely LOVE this set, I think it's just so luxurious!
I'm gifting this to my Mum because she (like me) is a stationary addict and I always buy her cute pens as stocking fillers. This set is from Kate Spade and it's presented in a classy cream and black box which I think makes it extra special.
The description on AMARA gifts says:

"Bring chic style to your work space with this Strike Gold pen set from Kate Spade New York. Presented in a cream & black box it includes six black ink ballpoint pens that are metallic gold in colour. A fabulous gift idea for any keen writer, this set is perfect to pair with more stylish stationery also available from Kate Spade New York."

AMARA gifts is a luxury online gift shop and much like many of the items available on AMARA, this gift is a little out of the ordinary. I think it would suit many personalities; everyone uses pens and I think that girly girls, office workers, stationary lovers, fans of Kate Spade, keen writers and even bloggers would be delighted to receive this gift!
You can find AMARA on Twitter  Pinterest  and  Facebook

For the chocoholic
http://www.cadburygiftsdirect.co.uk/favourites/6-heroes.aspx
Cadbury Gifts Range

I think that for people who are mad about chocolate (also known as chocoholics) a present from Cadbury Gifts would be super.
On the Cadbury Gifts website, there are many chocolate-y gifts including luxury chocolate hampers, chocolate boxes, chocolate party bags, hot chocolate selections, personalized chocolate, pick 'n' mix gift box, flowers, toys, biscuits and also sweet selections.
There is a wide array of gifts of all priced and sizes and it's super easy to find the perfect gift. If you're unsure of what to buy for someone who seems to have everything or if you're on the look out for a secret Santa item, I think an item from Cadbury Gifts would be fab!

"Cadbury Gifts Direct - "the convenient way to gift Cadbury". Use Cadbury Gifts Direct for chocolate gifts with the universal appeal of Cadbury. Unique chocolate gifts with all the famous Cadbury chocolate brands including Roses, Milk Tray, Heroes and Wispa as well Dairy Milk chocolate bars, chocolate and flower hamper combinations; chocolate and wine gift sets; novelty chocolate gifts, Halloween chocolate gifts and Christmas Chocolate Gifts"

These giant tubs of chocolate always remind me of Christmas. Each year we (like most British families) love to purchase a huge tub of chocolate to place in the living room so that we've got some chocolate to nibble whilst watching Christmas TV.
Do you have huge tubs of heroes at Christmas in other countries?

You can find Cadbury on Twitter and Facebook

For the tea addict
http://www.twinings.co.uk/gifts
Twinings Gifts Range
We all know that person who is constantly drinking tea and as Twinings have begun selling a wide array of gifts which are centered around different selections of tea, there is now the perfect excuse to gift them a tea-related item. Twinings sell are gift hampers, gift boxes, tea caddies and compartment boxes. Most are presented in wooden boxes which makes the product look like it's of higher value and I think that these gifts would be a thoughtful and practical present to gift to a tea drinker.
Since the gifts are all packaged so well, the repentance would think that you'd spent lots of money on them :P

Bath Gift Set from Baylis and Harding

Baylis and Harding are renowned for selling the most beautiful gift sets, the style of their gifts are super chic and modern and the products are always scented beautifully. I'm a big fan of the products from Baylis and Harding. I think their gift sets would be suitable for girls and women of all ages. The colours and packaging of the gift boxes remind me of Christmas, and they really do have a sense of magic about them. Items from Baylis and Harding are available to buy from many retailers, some include Boots, Superdrug, ASDA, Tesco, Argos, Debenhams and BHS. Baylis and Harding also support charities so whenever you buy, you'll be contributing to a deserved cause.

"Family is very important to us at Baylis and Harding, which is why we support charities locally, and nationally. We are trustees of The Mikey Abdou Foundation, and proud to support their work raising money for children in the West Midlands, and across the globe."

Seasonal Treats Box from Prestige Hampers
This item is actually my personal favourite from this gift guide.
I think this hamper would be a fabulous present because it includes a chocolate bar, a chocolate assortment box, black forest crunch biscuits, a cherry and almond slab, breakfast tea, a jar of marmalade and a pot of jam. There really is something for everyone and since it all comes packaged in a ruby red magnetic box, there's no need to spend time and money wrapping it all up!
There are so many hampers to choose from on the Prestige Hampers website, they range in price and there are hampers to suit everyone; there's wine hampers, cheese hampers, Christmas hampers, variety hampers, special dietary hampers and even pet hampers.
Super easy, super affordable and super fun!
From my experience, Prestige are a lovely company with super a friendly team who are willing to help you in any way they can. On the Prestige website, you can read:

"We are the only hamper company in the UK to have an "Excellent" rating on TrustPilot so you can safely order hampers online with ease."

If you're considering buying a hamper gift for somebody special (or even just to treat yourself) I'd highly recommend Prestige, their service is second to none!

Frankincense and Myrrh Gold Glitter Tealights from Marks and Spencer
Marks and Spencer have begun to sell their Christmas gifts.
The M & S stores always look so magical at Christmas and their 3 for 2 gifts are too tempting. I often end up doubling up on the gifts that I buy because I want to be able to keep one for myself!
My favourite items from M & S gifts have got to be the homeware related gifts and I think those people that know how to make a house a home would appreciate some house warming gifts
One of my favourite items from the M & S homeware collection are these frankincense and myrrh gold sparkly tealights. I think these little candles would add a sense of festive cheer to any home and will make the perfect Christmas gift; also, can we take a moment to appreciate the beautiful packaging of this product, it looks so swish!

"Buy any three from our festive selection and the cheapest item is free – mix and match across selected cards, wrapping paper, decorations, home fragrance and beauty gift"

Wilkinsons offer a range of toys, chews, gift stockings and even costumes which will be sure to keep your pets from feeling left out of the festivities.

Nibboxx Review!

Hello Daydreamers,

*This post contains PR samples, all opinions are my own as always :)

Today's post is about a company called Nibboxx.
From Nibboxx, you can purchase healthy snack boxes which are delivered to your door! The first box costs just £2.99 to begin with, and as they are subscription free, so you can pick and choose when you would like to receive a box full of healthy goodies!
They've just launched their new website and when I got the opportunity to try out a Nibboxx and I couldn't be more excited about trying out healthy snacks that actually taste amazing.

Here's what was inside...

http://nibboxx.com/

http://nibboxx.com/
http://nibboxx.com/
http://nibboxx.com/http://nibboxx.com/
The 4 snacks were securely sealed in their own little compartment.

Cocoa dusted almonds, honey glazed bananas, walnut brownie and nut and raisins mix.

The cocoa dusted almonds are actually my favourite item from the box. They are surprisingly super chocolate-y and extremely moreish. I'd rather eat these than chocolate any day and it's a bonus that they're a much healthier option.
393 calories per tray

I've always wanted to try baked banana chips and the ones I received in the Nibboxx are organic and honey glazed! The most delicious and healthy sweet snack. I sprinkled some of these into a yogurt for breakfast and it was the perfect start to the day!
156 calories per tray

The selection of fruit and nuts mix tasted flavorful and were a great TV snack. I also noticed that they were really filling which is fabulous for the calorie contents which was just 151 per tray.

And Finally, the highest in calories but most moreish item in the box was the walnut organic walnut brownie slices. These are super chewy and satisfying; a full tray contains 405 calories which I think is pretty good for a brownie!

All in all, I think the idea of the Nibboxx is super fun and also, as the snacks are healthy and wholesome, it's totally guilt free!
If you'd like to check out the new Nibboxx website then click HERE
They're on twitter and Instagram too and I believe there is a chance to win a Monthly supply of Nibboxx over on their Facebook page!
I hope that you enjoyed this post lovelies and thank you for reading : )

October Favourites!

Hello Daydreamers!

I normally have the monthly faves posts written before 25th of each month. This month, I've been really busy but luckily I've recently bought lots of new items so it was super easy to choose my favourite things from the month of October!
The first item I've been LOVING is this hello gorgeous over sized mug which I ordered from Avon. I really love Avon, there's something so fun about making a hot drink and flicking through the brochure (especially in autumn time) and then being excited for weeks about your goodies arriving. It stated in the brochure that this mug was over sized but I think I underestimated how big it would be. It's bigger than my face and holds soooo much hot chocolate. The scalloped edge and rose gold pattern makes it even cuter. I looooves it!
EDIT: Since so many of you were swooning for this mug, I've found the link to the AVON website, it's HERE

Another item that I bought from Avon was a rose gold bird trinket pot (I've been a big fan of anything rose gold lately). I placed this on my dressing table and it looks so sweet. There's a running theme of birds and owls around my room so this little guy fitted right in.

This lipstick has been on my Pinterest wish list pin board for so long now, it's the MAC peach blossom lipstick. Whilst shopping for my foundation in MAC, I decided to splash out and treat myself and I'm so glad I did. The formula is super creamy and it's a great colour for day or night : )

If you read my day in the life post, you'll have seen that I've been using the soap and glory peaches and clean cleanser of late. I just realy love this, it can be used as a creamy cleanser or as a face wash. It smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling super fresh.

And finally to go with my Avon mug, I've been loving Horlicks Hot Chocolate. I'm a fan of anything chocolaty so when I found this in Morrisons, I decided to give it a go since I also love Horlicks. I think this is the perfect hot drink for this time of year!

So I hope you enjoyed reading my October favourites. lovelies.
Just think, the next favourites post will be for November and that means it will soon officially be Christmas season, ahhh the excitement is real!!!
